2010
Congressional Procurement Conference
OFFICEPRO was pleased to exhibit at the 2010 Congressional
Procurement Conference at the Universities at Shady Grove. Val
Blatt, Vice President of Training, and Juan Cuellar, OFFICEPRO’s
web master and staff instructor, participated in the event.
The Conference, co-sponsored by the Montgomery County Chamber
of Commerce and Rep. Chris Van Hollen, attracted more than 700
participants and offered more than 30 workshops on doing business
with the government and prime contractors.

Participates in Golf Tournament to Benefit VIP
It’s not all work! Judy Stephenson participated in the
Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation golf
tournament at Lakewood Country Club on July 19. This event raises
funds to support the costs of operating the Veteran Institute
for Procurement (VIP) program.

Back!
For the fourth year, OFFICEPRO provided instructional support
for Don Bosco Cristo Rey’s summer boot camp.
The high school, located in Takoma Park, supports underserved
youth in the Washington area. Students attend high school and
also job share at area businesses.
OFFICEPRO supports the program through courseware development
and providing volunteer instructors to help students build a
strong foundation of computer skills to apply at work.
2010 Legislative Reception
OFFICEPRO has joined the Board of Directors of the Montgomery
County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber advocates on behalf
of business issues and gives us the opportunity to support business
issues at the county and state level.
As part of our Chamber membership, OFFICEPRO sponsored the
2010 Legislative Reception in Annapolis on February 1, 2010.
This event provided an excellent opportunity for Chamber members
to network with the Montgomery County Delegation to discuss
issues of interest to the business community.
Small Business Leader of the Year 2009
OFFICEPRO
was honored that company president Judy Stephenson was named
Small Business Leader of the Year by the Montgomery
County Chamber of Commerce. Judy has been with OFFICEPRO
since 2003 and is the primary customer contact for the company.
Her focus on the needs of our clients allows us to consistently
deliver the highest quality training programs possible. The
Chamber of Commerce award is an indication of the quality of
the OFFICEPRO staff and the standards we set for our community
involvement. The award was sponsored by Kaiser Permanente.

(MCBRE).
MCBRE is a nonprofit organization, founded in 2002 by leading

County Public Schools (MCPS), MCBRE delivers comprehensive learning
opportunities that help students grow and become better prepared
for the future.
